Excellent read!

An old friend of mine told me about his decision to quit which stuck. His wife had begged him to quit and he didn't listen.

Days after a holiday work party where he drank so much he didn't remember, a colleague he scarcely knew approached him. In a very somber way, the colleague told him he needed help and should quit drinking.

Horrified by what he might have done and knowing this person had absolutely no investment in the outcome, he made his decision and quit.
