Looks like you took the best path out of an abusive situation. Cheating isn't an ideal way out of a marriage, but it served you, your son, and apparently even your husband well. Face facts, a significant portion of the population indulges in cheating. Your story just worked out well. I'm happy you got out no matter how you did it!
